Volunteering is an exciting and rewarding way to participate with River Legacy Foundation. We are always looking for enthusiastic individuals or groups to support and enhance our programs. Whether it is helping with a special event or the daily operation of the Living Science Center, volunteers provide a valuable service for River Legacy Foundation's mission of preservation, education and recreation.

Current volunteer opportunities include:

SPECIAL EVENTS

• Caddy Shack Scramble, September 16, Tierra Verde Golf Club
This one day tournament takes place on the unique Audubon Signature Course in South Arlington. Volunteers are needed to assemble goody bags and prepare materials the week before the event; to assist with event-day set-up and breakdown; to monitor event day contests; and to assist with hospitality.

• After Dark in the Park, October 9-12, River Legacy Parks & Living Science Center
This annual fall festival, which features professional storytelling, crafts, activities, games and festival fare, is designed for families with children ages 2 to 10. Thursday evening is reserved for disabled and disadvantaged youth and their families. Volunteers are needed for setup and breakdown; to prepare and sell concessions; and to help facilitate games, crafts and activities each of the four nights.
