Weddings
Every couple imagines a wedding and reception as unique and beautiful as the love they share. They want elegance and affordability.
The happy couple wants the celebration to capture everyone’s imagination, after all it’s a day filled with memories to last a lifetime.
River Legacy Living Science Center promises all this and more.
The light-filled nature center and the beautiful terraced patio are:

The Living Science Center is located next to River Legacy Parks on NW Green Oaks Boulevard at Cooper Street in North Arlington. The building includes a 2,000-square-foot atrium as well as a 3,000-square-foot exhibit hall. The atrium has flagstone floors and ceiling to floor windows on the west side of the building. The terraced patio on the west side of the building makes a beautiful setting for an intimate wedding ceremony with seating on the lawn.
The Living Science Center will provide a preferred caterers’ list as well as other vendors who are familiar with the center.
The Living Science Center is available most weekday evenings as well as Saturday and Sunday afternoons and evenings.

Rental Rates
Facility rentals range from $250 - $2,500. We are flexible with our rates in an effort to best accommodate our guests and meet their needs to support their special event.
One hour use of space for a small brief informal ceremony – $250
» Time frame of use is firmly limited to one hour (includes any preparation and clean up of space)
» Use of Terraced Patio or other outdoor space
All other rentals require a 2-hour reservation minimum with a base rate of – $250 per hour
» For Ceremonies and/or Informal Receptions
» Use of Atrium and/or Exhibit Hall
» Use of Terraced Patio and/or other outdoor space
» Guest Capacity 200; or 150 for a seated dinner
» Theater/Lab is available for an additional fee of $125
Facility use for 5+ hour rentals – $2,500*
» For Ceremonies and/or Informal Receptions
» Use of Atrium and/or Exhibit Hall
» Use of Terraced Patio and/or other outdoor space
» Guest Capacity 200; or 150 for a seated dinner
» Bridal changing room and large classroom available for support space
» Theater/Lab is available for an additional fee of $125
*Rental fee includes one staff person.
A security/damage deposit of $250 plus 25% of the rental venue fee is required at the time contract is signed.
Use of Tents, Awnings & Gazebos for your event:
All such properties must be approved by the Event Director prior to delivery on-site.
All properties, decorations, and/or trash must be delivered and/or removed within your allotted rental period or you will be subject to a fee to be determined by administrative staff.
