River Legacy Parks East is a 22-acre site that is an important link in the linear park plan. The park includes trails, a playground and five informal picnic areas.

The park landscape ranges from open level grass fields to steep forested areas with sandstone outcroppings and vertical bluffs.

Informal soccer and softball fields are located in River Legacy Parks East.
