Mini-Boat Regatta

The Mini-Boat Regatta provides an opportunity for children ages 4-12 to race mini-sailboats along rain gutters by blowing on the sail of their boat. With a huff and a puff they will race their boats to the finish line! 1st, 2nd, 3rd place medals will be awarded in each age category. Trophies awarded to Overall Fastest Time and Overall Best Decorated Boat.

Goldfish | ages 4-5
Dolphins | ages 6-7
Sharks | ages 8-10
Whales | ages 11-12

Registration Information:
| Pre-register by April 21 and pay only $5 per child
(pre-registration fee includes 1 – paid $5 general admission to the Cardboard Boat Regatta event)
| Register at the Cardboard Boat Regatta event: $10 per child
(includes 1 - $5 entry fee plus 1 – paid $5 general admission to the Cardboard Boat Regatta event)

Mini-Sailboat Kit Costs:
Buy your boat kit for only $3 (with coupon on the registration form at any Scout Shop listed below. You must present the coupon at the Scout Shop in order to get the discount (regular price is $4 per boat kit). Coupon expires May 3, 2008.

Due to the dimensions of the gutters, only the boats purchased at the designated Scout Shops will be eligible for racing. A limited number of assembled, waterproofed boats will be available the day of the race for a $5 refundable deposit (when you return the boat after the races).

Check-In Time: 10 am - 12:30 pm
Race Start Time: 1 pm
