The environmental education programs at the Living Science Center include classes for children and learning opportunities for adults that encourage both groups to explore their place in the natural world around them.
A Nature School for preschoolers that is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children ... summer classes ... field investigations ... after-school clubs and a calendar full of public programs ... all these offerings and more serve to provide a hands-on, minds-on connection with nature.
It’s one thing to read books and look at pictures. It’s another thing to immerse yourself in the experience:
