Naturalist/Environmental Educator
River Legacy Living Science Center in Arlington, Texas is searching for a full-time Naturalist with environmental education experience. The Living Science Center is located in the 1,300-acre River Legacy Parks, a floodplain woodland along the Trinity River. The successful candidate will be experienced in facilitating environmental education programs with third through eighth grade school groups. Applicants with a background in water study, aquatic invertebrates, general ecology, and the preservation of natural ecosystems will be given priority. Candidates must enjoy teaching children both indoors and outdoors and have a clear understanding of and dedication to experential, hands-on education. Applicants must also be able to care for and handle a variety of vertebrates and invertebrates. Bachelor's degree in related field required.
